From family estate to private casino resort.
Optionventurepath began as a late-nineteenth-century timber manor on the edge of a northern lake. For decades it served as a private residence, a winter retreat for writers and a discreet meeting place for visiting diplomats. By the early 2000s the estate had fallen into a dignified quiet, its outbuildings empty and its orchard overgrown.
In 2012, owner Henrik Granvik acquired the property with a single intention: to restore the house not as a museum, but as a living place for guests who value privacy, craft and conversation. He spent five years rebuilding the main wing, adding twelve suites, a restaurant, event spaces and the private casino salon that would become the estate's signature evening experience.

The manor opened quietly in 2018. Since then it has hosted corporate retreats, intimate weddings, board meetings and private casino salon evenings for guests from across Europe and beyond. The operation remains deliberately small. Every guest is known by name, every event is planned individually and every detail is handled in-house.
Optionventurepath is now recognised as a refined casino resort and a benchmark for offline, in-person hospitality in the Nordic region.
